Apple Valley Post-Acute Rehab recently hosted their annual luau on a beautiful day. Apple Valley’s annual Resident/Family/Community BBQ/Luau is a fun way to get our residents, their families, the staff, and local community members together to celebrate the community endeavors. Even the Vice Mayor, Patrick Slaytor, and the Assistant City Manager, Mary Gourley, stopped by to participate in the festivities. This is the third year the Redwood Model T Car Club from Forestville has brought their beautiful “pre-owned” vehicles to help with the festivities. These cars are from the early 1900s. To liven up and round out our celebration we had Deb Wright and the “Friends of the Islands” band take us musically to the Hawaiian Islands for an hour of beautiful music and hula dancing. It was a great day in Sebastopol and our community.
